Yamaha / YXZ 1000R / Defender HD Front Bumper Installation Instructions For Models: YXZ 1000R (2016-2025), YXZ 1000R SE (2016-2018), YXZ 1000R SS SE (2017-2018), YXZ 1000R SS (2017-2018)
1. Remove the original front bumper by removing the 4 bolts holding it to the front of the vehicle. Do not discard the 4 bolts, they will be used to install the new HMF bumper. (See Figure #1)
1. Install the HMF Defender Front Bumper to the stock location. Loosely reinstall the 4 bolts to secure the bumper to the front of the vehicle.(See Figure #2)
2. Check for proper alignment and clearance, adjust as necessary then tighten all 4 mounting bolts. (See Figure #3)
