Yamaha / YXZ 1000R / Apex Windshield Full Shield Installation Instructions For Models: YXZ 1000R (2016-2018), YXZ 1000R SE (2016-2018), YXZ 1000R SS SE (2017-2018), YXZ 1000R SS (2017-2018)
1. Remove the 4 Cage Bolts from Cage.
2. Note: You may need to loosen the front portion of the Factory Roof to install the Apex Windshield Bar.
3. Slide the Apex Windshield Bar into position on the Cage. (See Figure #1)
4. Install the (4) M10-1.5x55 Flanged Bolts and (4) M10-1.5 Nylock Nuts through the Apex Bar, into the Cage Clamps. Do not tighten.(See Figure #2)
5. Install Cage Clamps using the M6x20 Bolts, tighten in criss cross pattern
6. Finally, securely tighten the M10-1.5x55 Flange Bolts.
