Polaris / XPedition 5 / Rock Sliders Installation Instructions

For Models: XPedition 5 (2024-2025)

Installation

1. Begin by marking the centers of the predefined Rock Slider mount holes. (note the center of the mounting hole is .875” or 7/8” from the edge of the marked ring.(See Figure #1)

2. Using a 1-3/8” hole saw cut the holes.

3. On the passenger side of the vehicle, remove the factory hardware (1) T30 Torx bit, (2) Plastic Clips) securing the inner fender liner and lift up the cover.(See Figure #2)

4. Pre assemble some of the hardware onto the Rock Sliders.(See Figure #3)

4a. The two furthest forward mounts will get (M10-1.5x 100 hex bolt, 3/8” USS Washer, Long aluminum spacer and Split Wedge anchors) pre installed onto the Rock Slider.

4b. The next mount back will get (M10-1.5x120mm Hex bolts, 3/8” uss Washer, long aluminum spacer.

4c. The final rear upper mount will get (M10-1.5x100mm Hex bolt, 3/8” USS Washer, Short aluminum spacer. (Note : do not install 3/8” Fender Washers, M10-1.5 Nylock Nuts at this time)

5. With the hardware pre installed on the front two mounts, begin installing the Rock Slider by inserting the front (2) Split Wedge Anchors into the front (2) mounting holes on the machine.

6. Loosely secure the front mount.

7. With the remaining supplied ( 3/8” Fender washer, M10-1.5 Nylock nut) loosely secure the two remaining mounts.(See Figure #4)
