For Models: Predator (2003-2007)
1. Remove the Seat and the Right Side Plastic Cover. (See Figure #1)
2. Remove the Silencer-to-Frame Bolts and remove the Silencer.
3. Remove the Cylinder head-to-Head Pipe Bolts.
4. Remove the Stock Head Pipe.
Inspect the Cylinder head-to-Head Pipe Gaskets. If there is evidence of leakage, replace them with new ones from your Polaris Dealer.
1. The larger end of the Spigots go into the cylinder head Ports.
2. Slide the Flanges over the Spigots and place both assemblies into the exhaust ports. Start the nuts and washers to keep the assemblies in place, but do not tighten the nuts.(See Figure #2)
3. Slide the HMF Head Pipe over the Spigots and install the Springs.
2. Slide the Clamp onto the HMF Inlet tube of the silencer.
3. Slide the HMF Silencer onto the HMF Head Pipe. (See Figure #3)
4. Using the supplied hardware, mount the HMF Silencer in the stock location in this manner: Supplied Bolt: Washer: Silencer Mount: Spacer: Frame(See Figure #4)
Tighten in this order:
a. Silencer Mount-to-Frame Bolts
b. Clamp
c. Spigot flange to cylinder head nuts
5. Re-install the Side Plastic Cover and Seat.
