Kawasaki Teryx Full System 08-13 Installation Instructions

Removal

1. Disconnect the tail light wiring harness from the dump bed.

2. Remove the dump bed for easy access to the exhaust system.

Caution: This step may require a second person as the bed is HEAVY.

3. Remove the original silencer and gaskets. These gaskets will not be used.

4. Remove the (2) original exhaust mounting brackets from the frame. They will not be used.

5. Remove the skid plate from the bottom of the vehicle to gain access to the front head pipe.

6. Remove seats, center console, kick-panel and driveshaft tunnel cover.

7. Remove the front and rear head pipes.

Installation

1. Using a 1/4” to 5/16“ Drill Bit, drill through the Rear Mounting Holes where the Heat Plate is bolted up. This is where your Dual Exhaust Bracket will bolt on.

2. Bolt on the Heat Plate and the supplied Exhaust Bracket with the bent side towards the front of the vehicle using the supplied 1/4” Carriage Bolts, Washers, Nylocs.(See Figure #1)

3. Bolt on the HMF Headers.

4. Install the Stainless Steel Heatshield over the front of the Head Pipe.

5. Slide the T-Bolt Clamps over the Silencer Ends and slide the Silencer onto the Headers.

6. Align the Silencer and bolt the Exhaust Bracket using the 8mm Bolts, Nylocs, and the supplied Fender Washers on each side of the Rubber Mount.

7. Make sure there is plenty of clearance around the Exhaust in all areas. The heat from the Exhaust can damage parts if not properly installed.

8. Check the alignment and tighten the T-Bolt Clamps.

9. Reinstall the Dump Bed.
