Kawasaki Teryx Dual Slip-On 08-13 Installation Instructions For Models: Teryx (2008-2013)
1. Disconnect the Tail Light Wiring Harness from the dump bed.
2. Remove the dump bed for easy access to the exhaust system. Caution: This step may require a second person as the bed is HEAVY.
3. On Older models, remove the Under Bed Heat Shield.
4. Remove the original Silencer and Gaskets. These gaskets will not be used.
5. Remove the 2 original Exhaust Mounting Brackets from the frame. They will not be used.
1. Using a ¼” or 5/16” drill bit, drill through the frame holes located 3-5/8” forward of the dump bed pivots. This is where your supplied bracket will bolt up.
2. Use the ¼” carriage bolts, washers, and nylock nuts to install the bracket with the mounting tabs facing the rear of the vehicle.
3. Slide the supplied T-bolt clamps over the inlets of the silencers and slide the silencers over the head pipes.
4. Line up the silencers with the bracket, and then use the supplied 8mm bolts, fender washers, and nyloc nuts to mount the silencers to the bracket. Note: Use one fender washer on each side of both rubber mounts.
5. Be sure there is plenty of clearance around all areas of the exhaust and adjust as necessary.
6. Tighten the T-bolt clamps and install the dump bed. (See Figure #1)
