Honda Rancher 420 Slip-On 07-13 Installation Instructions

Removal

1. Make sure the bike is on level ground and completely cooled down.

2. Loosen the Stock Clamp that holds the Silencer and Head Pipe together.

3. Loosen the Silencer Mounting Bolts.

4. Brace the back to the Silencer with one hand, and take the Bolts the rest of the way out.

5. Pull back and twist until the Silencer is removed.

Installation

1. Slide the supplied spacer into the Stock Rubber Mount. (See Figure #1)

2. Slide the Clamp onto the Silencer end and slide the Silencer onto the Head Pipe.  

NOTE: It may be necessary to loosen the Head Pipe nuts to allow for Head Pipe movement.

3. Align the hardware in this order and tighten.  Allen Bolt : Small Washer : Exhaust Mount : Fender Washer Spacer : Fender Washer : Lock Nut : Head Pipe Nuts. (See Figure #2)
