Can am / Maverick R / Packout Bed Rack Installation Instructions

Removal

1. While not necessary it may aid in installation to remove the Intercooler air inlet ducting

2. Remove the (2x plastic clips) securing the cab wall to the bed floor(See Figure #1)

3. Remove the (2x T15 Torx and 2x T20 Torx) screws securing the bed floor to the Rear Plastics.(See Figure #2)

4. Remove the (8x T40 Torx screws and 2x M6 Nylock nuts) securing the bed floor to the frame.(See Figure #3)

5. Remove the bed floor from the vehicle. 

6. With the bed floor out of the machine remove the (8x T40 Torx bolts and T-nuts) holding the cargo tiedown points in place.(See Figure #4)

Installation

1. Place the HMF Packout Bed Rack on the bed floor, Lining up the holes in the HMF Packout Bed Rack with the existing holes for the Factory Cargo Tiedown points and reinstall the factory (8x T40 Torx bolts and T-nuts).(See Figure #5)

2. Place the Bed floor with HMF Packout Bed Rack back in the vehicle. (See Figure #6)

3. Using the Factory hardware resecure the Bed floor to the vehicle with the (8x T40 Torx bolts 2x washers and 2x M6 Nylock nuts).

4. Reinstall the remaining (2x T15 Torx screws, 2x T20 Torx screws and 2x plastic clips) securing the bed floor to the cab wall and rear plastics.(See Figure #7)
