Yamaha® YFZ 450R

The Yamaha YFZ450R-X exhaust systems are available in a Slip-On or Full System in the Performance and Competition series. HMF exhaust on the YFZ450R-X platform is used worldwide by both professional racers and recreational riders alike who are looking for even more performance out of their ride. 

Performance Series 
Slip-On 
The single 4” aluminum silencers picks up about 5 hp and 3 ft-lbs with a significant increase in sound and much better tone than the stock exhaust.  Available in multiple colored shells and end caps to match or compliment the factory colors this system is significantly lighter than the stock silencer and includes the HMF silencer, hardware, and mid-pipe to connect to the factory headpipe.
Full System
The single 4” aluminum silencers picks up about 6 hp and 4 ft-lbs with a significant increase in sound and much better tone than the stock exhaust.  Available in multiple colored shells and end caps to match or compliment the factory colors this system is significantly lighter than the stock system and includes the HMF silencer, hardware, and headpipe.  The HMF headpipe has built in mounts to utilize the factory heatshield or other heatshields using the same bolt pattern as the factory.

Competition Series
Slip-On
The single 4” aluminum silencers picks up about 5 hp and 3 ft-lbs with a significant increase in sound and much better tone than the stock exhaust.  The Competition Series comes with 3 different inserts to adjust the sound levels and power according to the riding area, restrictions, and rider preference.  Significantly lighter than the stock silencer the HMF slip-on includes the HMF silencer, hardware, and mid-pipe to connect to the factory headpipe.
Full System

Note: The HMF Full Exhaust system has welded tabs that are designed to be used with the OEM Heat Shield

Tuning

See the tuning settings below for the proper fuel tuning solution on your machine.

NOTE: Optimizers purchased & programmed prior to July 2019 are mapped with all modes at 4.0.  The settings shown below reflect tuning with different base settings, do not adjust pre July 2019 Optimizers to the settings below.

Settings work best with the airbox lid removed.

Low Speed Fuel

Going down on the number scale will reduce low speed fuel. Going up on the number scale will increase low speed fuel.

Mid Range Fuel

Going down on the number scale will reduce mid range fuel. Going up on the number scale will increase mid range fuel.

High End Fuel

Going down on the number scale will reduce high end fuel. Going up on the number scale will increase high end fuel.

Green Lower Switch Point

Going down on the number scale will turn green mode on earlier. Going up on the number scale will turn green mode on later. These modes typically will not need adjusted from their base setting.

Yellow Lower Switch Point

Going down on the number scale will turn yellow mode on earlier. Going up on the number scale will turn yellow mode on later. These modes typically will not need adjusted from their base setting.

Red Lower Switch Point

Going down on the number scale will turn red mode on earlier. Going up on the number scale will turn red mode on later. These modes typically will not need adjusted from their base setting.
