Nology HotWires® Spark Plug & Wire Kit Instructions For Models: RZR XP® 1000 (2014-2023), RZR XP® 4 1000 (2014-2023), RZR® 4 900 (2015-2017), RZR® S 900 (2015-2020), RZR® 900 Trail (2015-2020), RZR XP® Turbo (2016-2021), RZR XP® 4 Turbo (2016-2021), RZR® RS1 (2018-2022), RZR XP® Turbo S (2018-2021), RZR XP® 4 Turbo S (2019-2021)
1. Remove the Engine Cover from the trunk bed.(See Figure #1)
2. Remove the Spark Plug Wire from PTO Engine Side. (See Figure #2)
3. Remove Spark Plug on PTO Engine Side.(See Figure #3)
4. Insert supplied NGK Spark Plug into PTO Side of Engine. Use the shorter Hot Wire into PTO Engine Side and the lower post on the coil pack.
Note: Spark Plug Gap should be (.027"-.032") (.7-.8mm)(See Figure #4)
5. Remove the Spark Plug and Spark Plug Wire on MAG Engine Side.(See Figure #5)
6. Insert supplied NGK Spark Plug into MAG Side of Engine. Use the longer Hot Wire into MAG Engine Side and the top post on the coil pack.(See Figure #6)
7. Sand the paint of the top of a frame tab to create a good ground source. You may alternately use a location on the engine that is grounded. (See Figure #7)
8. Attach the (2) Ground Wires from the Hot Wires to the cleaned tab using the original hardware.(See Figure #8)
9. Be sure to leave slack on the wires to allow for engine movement.
NOTE: When replacing spark plugs during routine maintenance use the same type of plug that comes with this kit:
NGK C7E for Naturally Aspirated Engines
NGK C9E for Turbocharged Engines
