HMF Racing U4 Front Bumper, Polaris RZR Turbo R/4 Instructions

For Models: RZR® Turbo R (2023-2024)

Installation

!!! WARNING !!! Before working on your machine, make sure it is parked on a level surface with the transmission in park and/or the parking brake engaged.

1. Remove the following:(See Figure #1)

  • Front Grill
  • Lower center fascia panel held in with (4) T40 torx head bolts
  • Lower fascia panel held in with (4) T40 torx head bolts

2. Remove the stock front bumper.

3. Install the provided Front Bumper Middle Mounting Plate using the (2) stock flange head bumper mounting bolts. Do not tighten.(See Figure #2)

4. Secure the grill surround to the mid plate at the center holes and corresponding holes in the grill surround using the provided (2) M8-1.25x50 Buttonhead Bolts, (2) 33mm Aluminum Spacers, (2) 1/4" Flat Washers, and (2) M8-1.25 Nylock Nuts. 

5. Reinstall the larger lower fascia panel and secure with the original (4) T40 torx head bolts, but not the middle section at this time.(See Figure #3)

6. Lift the bumper into place, sliding behind lower plastic and loosely secure the lower mounting points using the (2) stock flange head bumper mounting bolts.(See Figure #4)

7.  Secure the winch plate to the previously installed  Front Bumper Middle Mounting Plate using the provided (2) M8-1.25x20 Hex Bolts, (2) M8-1.25 Nylock Nuts, and (4) 1/4" Flat Washers. Do not tighten(See Figure #5)

8. Install the provided Left and Right Support Arms using the (2) M10-1.25 x 50 Flange Head Bolts, (2) 3/8 Flat washers, and (2) M10-1.25 Nylock Nuts. Do not tighten.(See Figure #6)

9. Secure the main bumper top tube to the previously installed Left and Right Support Arms using the provided (2) M10-1.5 x 25 Hex Bolts and (2) 3/8" Flat Washers.

12. Check for proper alignment, adjust as needed, then tighten all mounting hardware.  

13. Slip the lower center fascia panel into place and secure with the original (4) T40 torx head bolts.

14. If installing winch on the bumper some winch models have terminals that may get close to bumper components.  Most winches alow for re-orientation of the terminal side of winch.  Up and down terminal orientation works the best and is better for the power lead install.
