Gusset Kit - Can-Am® Maverick X3 MAX Instructions For Models: Maverick X3 MAX (2017-2022)
1. Place the vehicle in park. Raise the front end far enough off the ground to remove the front tires and place jack stands under the vehicle.
2. Remove the front tires, unbolt all 4 control arms and slide them forward, off of the mounting bolts.
3. Remove the 2 small 6MM bolts from the bottom of the front plate near the front lower control arm mounting bolts. You will not re-use these.
1. Install one “U” shaped gusset over the lower rear control arm bolts.
2. Install one straight “dog bone” gusset over the top rear control arm bolts.
3. Next, install the large plate over the top and bottom bolts of the control arms, with the 2 supplied 6MM bolts and washers at the bottom of the front plate near the lower control arm mounting bolts.
4. Install all 4 control arms but do not install nuts yet.
5. Install one “U” shaped gusset over the lower rear control arm bolts.
6. Install one straight “dog bone” gusset over the top rear control arm bolts.
7. Finally, reinstall the:
NOTE: It will be necessary to check and possibly adjust front toe settings.
