Front Bumper, Yamaha® YFZ 450 Instructions !!! WARNING !!! Before working on your machine, make sure it is parked on a level surface with the transmission in gear and the wheels chocked.
1. Remove the original front bumper by removing the (4) mounting bolts between the bumper and chassis. Save this hardware, it will be used to install the HMF front bumper.
2. Align the bumper with the original mounting locations and using the stock (4) mounting bolts loosely begin threading in all the bolts. Do not tighten any hardware until all (4) bolts are loosely installed.(See Figure #1)
3. Check for proper alignment and clearance between all parts, adjust as needed.
4. Tighten all (4) mounting bolts.(See Figure #2)
