EN / Carpenedolo is coming! One of the most important race of the season, with a track develop on two level, that makes the race very interest and characteristic. The track was a mix of speed and technical part for an average lap time of 1’46”.
SATURDAY / Free practice divided in two session of 20 minute each where the team researched a good overall set up of the car, looking different tyre and suspension setting despite the very difficult weather condition: high temperature around 45 degrees and dry ground that take the team to try also the wet setting considering that the track will be spry with water in order to minimize the dust.
SUNDAY / At the qualifying stage in the morning the lap time where very fast taking 4 car to be in only 2 second, Luca Locatelli #8 will close second and Nicolò Algarotti #246 will finish 4th.
RACE 1 / After a few lap Locatelli will experience a problem with the 4x4 forcing him to get back to the pit loosing 2 minutes and so compromising his race. Algarotti will keep defending his 3rd place for all the race despite the wrong tyre choice.
RACE 2 / The problem wasn’t solved for Locatelli so he had to minimize the damage and take home precious point for the championship. All the team focus on Algarotti that thanks now the wet track has a good feeling with the car. In acceleration and in the brake, so after 2 lap takes Giuliano Gullo and conduct an amazing battle for the second place. The two car battle for almost all the race giving a very nice show to the public. Algarotti put a good pressure over Gullo that at 1 lap to the end makes a mistake and let Algarotti overtake him but at the next Turn Gullo hit Algarotti’s car making him do a 360 and loose precious second.
After the last lap the race end with a good 3rd place for Algarotti #246 and a 7th place for Locatelli #8 Nicolò Algarotti #246
