The fourth round of the Gncc series was this past weekend at the Union, SC Big Buck course. This was the 20th running for the Big Buck track. I arrived to the track just after lunch time on Friday. After talking with a few friends, I began walking the course. I found quickly that dust and tree stumps from freshly cut woods would be the biggest issue. Overall the course looked fun and fast. Saturday morning when the green flag dropped, I had a mid pack start going into the woods in 6th place. I knew it was going to be tough with all of the dust. I got passed by another racer putting me back to 7th before the 1st lap was up. I put my head down and charged to 6th place halfway through the 2nd lap and then my front axle broke causing me to have no 4wd. I was also experiencing steering issues. I chose to ride smart and safe for the remaining 2 laps and finish the race. I ended up 7th in class and 13th overall. We will get the quad back into shape before the next race in 2 weeks at Society Hill, SC! Thanks for everyone's support and continued prayers!
