Hans Luenger, owner of HMF, is known in the off-road racing industry for putting together some pretty radical builds. In 2017, his latest Desert RZR® Project will tackle the grueling terrain of the BITD and SCORE series, with Hans behind the wheel.
Starting with a bare OEM XP turbo Chassis and keeping the original suspension mounting points, the team removed almost everything above the original lower frame tubes. We used polarizing 4130 Chromoly for the new structure to keep it light and give it the durability to take on the desert terrain with confidence.
