The Big Bear 400 features Yamaha’s proven air-cooled, torque-producing 386cc SOHC four-stroke engine with great low- to mid-range power. The Mikuni 33mm BSR carburetor feeds the engine and offers excellent throttle response and great overall performance. When we developed the Big Bear 400 Slip On Exhaust, we noticed an 8% increase in horse power over stock. With the Penland Pro Series installed on the bike, we were able to bump up the bottom end torque allowing us hook up better in rough terrain during testing.
