The BMW K1300S motorcycle was brought into our shop because it needed to pick up more torque and horse power, and the customer wanted a deeper tone to it. We did R&D on the BMW K1300S and we were able to pick up a ton of horse power throughout the RPM range. The BMW K1300S is known as the interceptor. The athlete. Aerodynamic, avant-garde. Do you know of another sporty bike with this profile? A bike that develops such pulling power with 175 hp that it takes the heat out of many a 200 hp bike? But a bike you can still take out on a quick trip simply because it has great everyday suitability? At the same time a technological treat? The reasons: 103 lb/ft (140 Nm) from 1,293 cc – and at 8,250 rpm too. And with all this power, the HMF Street Series made a perfect fit.
We brought in the 2010 BMW S1000R motorcycle from the Liberty Waves Racing Team. Like many super bikes we've built for, we had no time for second best. This bike was going to be used for competition track racing, and we needed to get every ounce of power that we could. The BMW S1000R features an aluminium bridge, radial brakes, a super sporty tail-up nose-down design, hot colors and the ultimate combination of electronic rider assistance systems: the first genuine racing ABS, whose features include a front-wheel-only mode, dynamic traction control (DTC) which permits varying degrees of slip, depending on the lean angle. When we put the HMF Street Series on the BMW S1000R motorcycle, we picked up extremely large horse power gains. We were able to pick it up so acceleration out of the turn could be done smoother and quicker than before. At 9,000 RPM we picked up 9HP. Currently the bike is still in competition, and we're looking to see big ranks from this bike.
