Just installed HMF Utility slipon. Do I need to install any of heat shieds back in their factory locations? Head Pipe, Intermediate Pipe, Slip on baffle. Will I have any problem with plastic getting to hot? 04 Grizzly 660. Appreciate a reply from someone who might know Thanks

Make sure that you re jet for your ocnditions. Yamaha's run hotter than normal and operating temperatures WILL rise as ambient temperatures rise, especially at low speeds or just at idle.
IF you have any feelings that things are getting too hot, use some header wrap to insulate the pipe and some heat tile on the plastic areas where the pipe is the closest.
