Over Charged Shipping

When i ordered my HMF pipe, direct from HMF the main thing i asked was SHIPPING charges, the guy told me they ship to anywhere in USA for around 17 bucks, and Canada would be a little more , around the 30 dollar range. When i got my pipe today, The Shipping COD was 95 dollars, considering the pipe is only 229 that's alot for shipping isn't it?

I read on here someone in toronto had theirs shipped to their door for 24 bucks. Why is it 70 dollars more to Nova Scoita? Maybe Hmf should have better idea's of shipping rates cause if i knew it was 100 bucks to ship the thing i'd prolly wouldn't have choose to get it :(

It wasn't like it was overnight shipping or anything , Took 2 weeks to get. I think the shipping company total ripped me off :mad: I'd suggest if anyone from canada Orders from HMF that you better get the shipping charges before hand.

C.O.D cost's more to do than reg ups.plus whatever the shipping is. say reg cost 50 bucks to your door C.O.D will cost 10$ more becasue its cash on delivery.

I didn't ask for COD. Shipping was way to much in my opinion. I could almost drive down and pick it up for what they charged me lol Just hope i never had to send it back for anything, i'll have to take out a loan to afford it. :eek:

Yeah that was way to much shipping for the weight and box. I work at Volvo construction sales and do UPS shipping. thats a crazy price for shipping. Im sure there was a mixup somewhere along the line

Been talking with UPS, SO to get this muffler shipped to me HMF charged $30. Then UPS chaged me $94.82 for stupid fees and taxes, so in total it cost me about $130 dollars to get that pipe shipped to me, after converting the US funds from HMF shipping. Thats total bulls**t. If u do UPSS shipping or Canadian post shipping it wouldn't have cost nothing but the 30 bucks hmf charged me. I'm still fighting with UPS cause im not paying 130 dollars to get $229 pipe shipped to me. I'll send it back first before i pay.

Just to clear our name, we charged 450JB $29.65 and not a penny more for shipping which is just like he was told by our salesman. In the U.S. it is between $15-$20 shipping and to Canada it is a little more, in this case $9.65 more. Anything as far as duty fees or exchange rates for Nova Scotia deliveries is on them. Get your facts straight before you blast us on our forum.

I got my Pipe no problem and shipping was fine by me. Sounds like UPS screwed up somewere.Personly I hate doing bussness with UPS i send all kinds of stuff outa here each day and they love to adjust the price's and thats BS. Id check with UPS and see why the hell they charged 94$ i cant see what all that was from. C.O.D charge is 7.50$ here but 94$ sounds like someone messed up at UPS.
I have nothing bad to say about HMF the shipping they charged me was the going rate.

I didn't blast you MIKE, i was upset when i found out the BULLS**T charges that UPS charges, after calling all the major shippers, FED X and places like that UPS has the highest and most out control broker fees ever. Yes u guys told me 30, and it was 30 US funds like i was told. Your part of the deal was great , Got the pipe , looks great can't wait to try it out, its says 2002 foreman on the bill, mines 2003, i figure they are all the same?

I'm saying if anyone orders from Canada they should be aware of the Fees UPS is gonna stick yah with. Taxes yes, that i can live with, but the 50 dollar broker fee bulls**t is crazy. If i made it sound like i blamed you Mike i'm sorry. I had the Money saved for this pipe, then Comes outta no where another 100 dollars i had to pay. I phoned UPS 3 times today and bitched at them, went in one ear and out the other, although one said i'm not the first to complain about the fees.

I totally Apologize to HMF and readers on this topic if i miss lead them about HMF shipping.
