Quiet Core with hmf sport series slip on

Im about to get a hmf sport series slip on for my 2004 400ex but i dont want it to be too loud.. How much does the Quiet core help the noise.. Is it worth it.? Any information would help.

Quiet cores are $20 and with it installed in the pipe it will run 96-97dbs and with-out the quiet core it will run 104-105dbs. With the core installed you will lose alittle top end power but you will not have to re-jet. Hope the helps.

I already got the hmf slip on pipe,,,,, was that a good choice to get that pipe over any other brand.... I always hear and read people love hmf so thats what i went with.
