I just installed on a 04 450R the HMF sport series slip-on, first off the brakets did not line up properly. I had to modify the holes in the brakets to make it fit good. Second, i had puchased the quite core insert, it's not very quite, at all. I have the air box lid cut like the HRC lid and a k&N filter I am running a 180 main jet and stock needle on the fourth notch it's still a little lean. i will try a 182 main and check the plug again. One good thing I will say though the Bike hauls butt, what a differance very pleased with the performance so far can't wait to get it in the sand Dunes.

lol, you cant expect it to get to much quieter with the quiet core, considering it is one of the most high flowing performance exhaust systems.

Yes I know I was just hoping it would be a little more Quiet, of course out in the open it will sound more quieter. in between the house on the street that tends to hold the sound in more. Also I am sure the performance will make up for the sound. The pipe has made a big differance in the way it runs.
