optimizer for renegade on outlander

Hello everyone. I recently purchased a Hmf utility slip on and an optimiser on Ebay for my 08 outlander max 500. I was sent the optimizer for the renegade 500 instead.Does this matter? I installed it anyways and used the recomended settings off the HMF site for an outlander. 1/2/2. I installed a set of fresh plugs and went for a ride. Seemed to run OK. I checked them when i got home and they look more of a white then a brown color. Should i be using diffent settings? The ones for the renegade? I should mention that it has a K&N with pre filter and a EHS air box cover. Thanks

The Renegade map will work on the Outlander but we do have a different map for the Outlander than we do for the Renegade. We can change the map over for you for the cost of shipping.
