hmf eliptical exhaust on 05 450r

i just bought a hmf eliptical slip on exhaust off my friend for my 05 450r. i drag race 500ft. dirt track. is the hmf eliptical sport series slip on a good pipe for drag racing? i was recently running a stock gutted pipe or a motorworks slip on but the motorworks slip on seemed to take away from top end and produce more bottem end power, however the gutted stock exhaust pulled really hard and produced faster times then the motorworks on the track, i didnt get to try to hmf slip on at the drag race track yet im kinda anxous to see how it performs because the next race is nationals.. any info is appreciated

yes our sport exhaust will provide solid gains across the entire power band. However, if you go with our HMF head pipe you will see an additional 1-1.5 HP in the upper RPMs. I would highly recommend it. Thanks

The head pipe is $247.95 and you will need to trim the reduced section off of the inlet of the muffler. You can purchase one from us directly.
