So i have a 2002 raptor 660 with a HMF slip on, K&N airfilter and no airbox lid. The bike is on average is about 14.6-15:1 through out the whole dyno pull until about 7000RPM then really leans out. The needles are in the richest position and pilot is at about 3 and a half turns out i think.(adjusted it while it was idling on the dyno). the mains are at 185L and @200R

i think the conditons were 83 degrees and 30%humidity 840 ft

The final jetting set up gave me 40.05HP and 34.77LB_TQ these were not the best numers but the best looking power curve and A/F ratio. I ran out of time and available jets to go any further, I would like to be around 12-13:1 i think to get the best power.

I also did not get a chance to really dial in the needle.

I worked my way up this far from a starting point of 155L&175R and so on till i reached my current set up.
So my question it what is everyone else getting with a similar set up. It seems kind of odd to have to go this extreme with the mains but the dyno doesnt lie i guess.? what pilots is everyone else running? How big of a difference between main jets should i strive for on the carb?(left Vs. Right)

also i checked to see if there was an intake leak driving it lean and there is not one.

I have access to the dynojet dyno through the school i work at.

Thanks

If your needles are set too low, it may be having an effect on WOT performance. As a general rule of thumb the main jets meter fuel from 3/4 to WOT, however the needles will have some effect here as well. Before doing anything else, I would address that, and do another few pulls on the dyno.
