07 trx450er jetting

I have just recieved my sport series and the fit and finish is amazing, it looks incredible. now i have to jet. i have a trx450er with airbox lid off and a s/o sport series. i ride at about 0 to 1250 feet in elevation. thanks, jim

165 main and 48 pilot are our baseline jetting recommendations for that machine.

Does having the airbox lid on change the base line jetting much?

Big time. It also will continue to choke any life out of that engine. If you do want to leave the lid on, which I don't recommend, Start with a 130-135 main and either stock or 45 pilot.

I have a 07 450er also. I found the 48 pilot was too rich. It made it really really hard to start hot and I never had to use the choke. Switched to a 45 and its perfect. I have a HRC style lid (back half removed), uni filter, and sports series exhaust.
