Ceramic Coating??

I am looking to ceramic coat my hearder and the portion of pipe from my header to the muffler. My queastion is.... How do i detatch the pipe from the muffler? do i drill out the rivits and pull the pipe out or what? do you have a cut-a-way of the pipe? I have a 05 ltz400.

Yes, that is how it is done BUT. The muffler core is welded to the end cap /s-bend. No big deal, they can coat all of those parts. Just be sure to use stainless steel rivets to re assemble the muffler.
