Mid pipe question: 05' YFZ 450

[YFZ 450 Quadaholic]

I have an 05 YFZ 450.
I just rec'd the sports series slip on yesterday via. UPS.
Perfect timing as I had an appt. at the shop set up for today! I dropped the bike and your pkg off this am.
However, the shop and they just called and said that there is no mid pipe in the box and that your muffler won't bolt up to the stock head pipe becasue the stock muffler is "all one pc." and therefore there is about a foot of pipe missing between your muffler and the stock headpipe????????????
HELP! I need this install finished ASAP.
Are they messed up in the head or do I need this mid pipe they refer to that was not sent in the pkg?

Update:
Talked to Mike this morning, and all will be taken care of to expedite this missing pc. Thanks Mike for your honesty and for deal we worked out between the 2 of us; I think it was fair and I appreciate that.
