duals on v-force

I bought a set of duals for my v-force in March and on one of the cans the HMF lettering on the side of one pipe looks like it has gotten burnt all brown and crispy just on half of it closest to the exhaust exit it is on the right side pipe if your sitting on the quad is this something you have had problems with or is there someway I can keep it from getting worse?
