Here is a list of what pipes go with the different riding styles:

Ironman - Motocross

The HMF Ironman Pro Series is the ultimate exhaust for the racer wanting the edge over the competition. Specifically designed in conjunction with John Natalie for all our MX performance and rugged durability. Available as an internally mounted, colored Kevlar / Carbon Fiber or race tested, powder coated aluminum canister. Optional (red, blue, gold, black) anodized end caps and turn downs.

Ballance - GNCC woods riding / sport

Designed in 2004 in conjunction with Yamaha Factory rider, Bill Ballance for all-out performance and rugged durablity. The Ballance Pro Series in now a proven winner in both cross country and desert riding. The Torque Rance Modifier is exclusive to HMF Pro Series exhausts. The TRM broadens the torque range allowing you to hook up better in rough terrain. The Ballance Kevlar / Carbon Fiber Pro Series in available in black, red, yellow or orange and uses a special internal mount with a beefy bracket to avoid carbon canister cracking.

Penland - GNCC woods riding / utility

The Penland Pro Series is the top of the line exhaust for the utility racer looking for maximum power as well as durablity and looks. It features the HMF Torque Range Modifier which broadens the torque range allowing you to hook up better in rough terrain. It's available as a Penland Eco-System which is USFS approved, meets most dB restrictions of State and Private riding areas and also gives you a gain in horsepower and torque. Stock sounding at idle and 94-96 dB (at half throttle).

HMF - overall riding in sand, dirt, and track

The most popular aftermarket exhaust in the ATV racing world! The HMF Sport and Utility Series has gained the respect based on the power, torque and quality that racers demand. It features a 2 inch open non-restricted core for maximum flow and power. You can customize the exhaust with durable GNCC and BAJA tested powder coating to match your machine along with anodized end caps. Add the optional Quiet Core Insert with Spark Arrestor and you can lose 3-4 dB to pass the sound check.

QRS - 100 dB or less. Overall riding

Competition racers are now faced with sound restrictions adopted by the GNC/GNCC at all AMA sanctioned events. The HMF QRS (Quiet Race System) allows you to pass the sound check at tech inspection registering 100 dB or less. 2006 GNC/GNCC sound restrictions will be lowered to 102 dB. HMF did extensive real world track time and dyno testing to design a quiet muffler that retains 90% of the power you would expect from a loud, unrestricted exhaust.

ECO System - 94-96 dB for mild or general use, not racing

USFS approved, meets all dB restrictions of State and Private riding areas, and also gives you a gain in both horsepower and torque. It's not for racing or highly modified machines. It's a replacement exhaust for the person looking to add more power, yet keep the peace. The Eco System muffler is available in brushed or polished aluminum finish only.
