The major gain was directly off throttle pulling strong to 35MPH where 10HP gain was made. Make that 11.5 HORSEPOWER at 20 MPH !!!
We used regular pump gas, free flowing filter (foam) airbox lid on, HMF OPTIMIZER and our Utility Series Slip On which is currently available.
The OPTIMIZER is suggested if you plan on engine mods or live in cooler climates.
You can see for yourself you WILL make more power and torque WITH the OPTIMIZER.
OPTIMIZER BASELINE SETTINGS THAT ARE PRE LOADED:
2 / 3 / 3 .
BLUE = All Stock
RED = HMF Slip On and HMF OPTIMIZER EFI TUNER.

OPTIMIZER INSTALLATION:
Work safe, this procedure requires you to put your hands in tight places, make sure the engine, exhaust system and surrounding areas are cold before starting the removal process.
Make sure you secure the machine in such a way that it cannot be moved or started until you have completed your work.
BEFORE start up, make sure that the exhaust system/slip on (headpipe (s), s-bend (s), muffler (s) are clear of any plastic, electrical, fuel, control cables, hydraulic lines or anything else that high heat of the exhaust system can damage.
*ALWAYS refer to your FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL for specifications, procedures, or for any other information not provided here.

Plug the OPTIMIZER connector onto the injector.
Plug the stock connector you removed from the injector into the OPTIMIZER connector.
Do the same to the fromt injector.
The last is to make the ground connection with the OPTIMIZER ground terminal.
NOTE: YOU MUST MAKE THE GROUND TERMINATION AT THE NEGATIVE (-) TERMINAL ON THE BATTERY ONLY.
Find a SAFE place to mount the OPTIMIZER using the supplied hook/loop patch.
Typically under the speedo works just fine.
MAKE SURE the OPTIMIZER wire harness WILL NOT tangle in the steering or other moving parts.
Re assemble the bodywork.

Remove the through sub frame bolt. (see pic rear it is the one at the HMF slip on rear most mount)
The HMF Slip On literally just slips onto the headpipe.
Use the supplied allen bolts and washers to mount the HMF Slip On, use the matching hole in the sub frame for the front HMF Slip On mount (see pic)
Install the supplied springs using the same rope/wire procedure.
NOTE: This photo shows dyno testing using an O2 sensor. The production HMF Slip ON WILL NOT have an O2 sensor or bung.
