I see that you now have a pipe for the AT that is great !!! What can I expect for gains with this pipe (HP). When I purchase this pipe from your company do you give suggested jetting to get things started ?
Thanks

You installed the pipe and no jet changes ? You should notice a increase again if you get it jetted correctly.
I am surprised that there is no info on the jetting. I am sure when the pipe was tested they did jet changes to show the most increase of HP. Keep us posted if you do any jetting. I am going to get one of this pipes I just wanted to here from some fellow riders first.

I've been on 2 trail rides - about 50+ miles with it and I love it. I met another guy with an AT and was showing it to him and let him try it out. He rode for about 2 minutes, got off and said "I'm getting one"
It is like a different bike.
I have not done anything on jetting - seems to run just fine. I'll pull the spark plug this week and see what it looks like. I'll let you know.

Since putting an HMF pipe on my 400 AT my wife has riddden it and wants one on hers. Says a lot about the pipe when a woman, new to ATVing or any offroad riding, sees a difference in performance enough to want one. Can't get her off my bike now.
So I have ordered one for hers - due tomorrow. Ive also shared my info on this pipe with 3 other people who all confirmed they ordered one. So, Ive sold 5 pipes for you guys!

I finally put on a HMF utility pipe and love it! Nice sound and not offensive
( with the quiet core although ). Has anyone rejetted their carb and if so what size of main jet ( I live in Ohio ). :D

142 Keihin main jet. 2 3 turns out on the air fuel mixture screw.

My RANCHER 400AT came stock with a 142 main jet, so by this I should be okay but still check the spark plug after a couple of rides? :)

HMF,
Please give us 400AT owners some guidance on jetting, there is no listing on your website for this model. Than :D ks!

The jetting that we used on our 400 was a 142. I do not have the data as far as what the stock jetting was on ours. Depending on your elevation, the bikes can come to the dealers with different jetting in them. Always set the air/fuel screw to the highest smoothest idle.

HMF,
I bought a jet kit and was unable to get the carb jetted to the jet kits specs.
I ended up leaving the 142 main jet in and turning the mixture screw out about 2 3/4 turns and the bike runs very well with the stock jetting. RANCHER 400AT owners save your money, don't buy a jet kit. :)

This is good info...we haven't seen the AT here yet. Have you done a plug check to make sure it's not running lean?

I'm sort of confused by your statement " we haven't seen the AT here yet "? How did you know to suggest to me in this thread the 142 MJ? I did check the plug and it appears to be running very well.

I purchased a DYNOJET kit and came up with the following combination:
HMF UTILITY PIPE W/QUIET CORE
K&N AIR FILTER & PREFILTER
FUEL SCREW 3 TURNS OUT
146 DYNOJET MAIN JET
CLIP ON 2nd GROOVE OF DYNOJET NEEDLE
NOTE: I live in Ohio so your settings can differ. Also I think the QUIET CORE kept me from using the 150 MJ as used for a baseline from DYNOJET. I hope this info might help someone.
