If I get a slip on hmf pipe. can I still use the stock heat sheilds?

We do not provide mounting points to re use stock heat shields, but I have seen people re use the shields by hose clamping them back on. OR if you are worried about heat melting plastic etc, we do offer a carbon fiber heat shield that retails for $84.99.
