People are asking: Should I install a HRC Kit on my 2006?

The 2006 HRC Kit includes a new headpipe which the 2005 kit did not. I have not got solid information on the cam specs for the 2006.

Based on the 2005 kit we found:

**IF you race motocross and mostly use the 3/4 to wide open throttle position..YES.

**IF you woods race or trail ride and mostly use the 14/ to 3/4 throttle position then NO.

We have since removed the HRC cam because for GNCC racing it took away too much bottom end which we really likes in the woods. For motocross it would be no problem though.

The dyno chart shows:

GREEN: HMF Full System WITHOUT the HRC Kit. Good midrange but poor top end.

RED: HMF Full System with the HRC Kit INSTALLED per their instructions. Loss in midrange but fair gains on top.

BLUE : HMF Full System with HRC Kit INSTALLED.
NOTE: I changed back to the stock needle adjusted the fuel screw to 2.5 out and went to a 195 main jet. Basic same mid but much better top end.
