Turn the fuel valve to "OFF"

**Locate the float bowl drain screw, then the float bowl drain hose (it is connected just below the drain screw) follow the hose to the end, pull it out so that you can drain the fuel into a gasoline safe container. (use flat blade screwdriver to loosen the float bowl drain screw).
**Drain the fuel into the container, then when the flow stops close the float bowl drain screw and re route the drain hose back to where it was.

**Remove the fuel line clamp, then the fuel line from the carburetor.

**Remove the fuel tank.

NOTE: You should drain the float bowl whenever the machine will be sitting for longer than a week, this will prevent the fuel from clogging the jets, AND it will drain off any water in the float bowl.
