Ignition degree key.

We used to use offset keys for ignition rotors "back in the day" waaay before todays hi tech CDI ignitions.
Todays ignitions have built in advance and retard so the need for this type of modification is not needed.

Some of todays engines can still be tweaked using this method. My Prairie 700 has this degree key installed and was the best $20 I ever spent on this thing. Sure a CDI would have been easier but at over $250 I went this route.

If you find that the CDI manufacturers are changing the timing for your particular bike and you feel mechanically adept then the offset key may be for you.
