The QRS is a core that is welded inside and cannot be removed. It was designed to run at 100dbs. to meet the gncc 102db limit. The TRM comes with our Penland and Ballance pipes and will not fit in the QRS pipe.

If the QRS is around 100db, what are the db's for the Penland WITH the torque insert AND spark arrestor?? I have heard slightly louder than the QRS at about 103 db...Is this about right? Also my friend has a BF 650 with a utility slip on with no core or arrestor so i can use his to judge by, what would a slip on with nothing for a brute force 650 be running decibal wise? Thanks....

The Brute Force slip on with no quiet core is running at about 105 dB's. A spark arrestor alone will not make the muffler any quieter.
