For Models: Kodiak 450 (2018-2024)
1. Make sure the machine is on level ground, secured and completely cooled down.
Note: Jacking up the rear and removing the right rear tire will help in removing the stock exhaust.
2. Remove the Side Plastic to get to the Muffler And Pipe Connection.
3. Remove the Springs holding the Rear Pipe to the Head Pipe.
4. Loosen the Heat Shield Clamps.
5. Loosen the Silencer Mounting Bolt and slide the exhaust out toward the rear of the vehicle.
1. Slide the Silencer onto the Head Pipe. Some pushing and twisting may be necessary.
2. Mount the Silencer using the supplied hardware and tighten.(See Figure #1)
3. Install stock springs to secure the Silencer to the Head Pipe.
4. Install Heat Shield Square where clearances are tight. (You may need to cut the Heatshield Square if multiple pieces are necessary.)(See Figure #2)
5. Inspect all areas around the exhaust system for proper clearance and alignment and adjust as necessary.
6. With most applications, tuning is a necessity.
